Hi, I'm Grace! I am a queer photographer and artist based in Chicago, IL.

I received my BFA in Art & Design and my minor in Sexuality and LGBTQ+ studies from the University of Michigan. Much of my work is influenced by my fine art background which can be seen through lighting, posture, and atmosphere in my photo work.

My love for film photography started when I was in high school in was gifted a tiny film camera that I used to photograph my friends. Adorning the physical artifact of a film negative continues to this day as I approach photography with intention. There’s an attention to detail and preciousness I hold in my work, met with a grace of the unknown and experimentation. Both on film and digital, I strive to create timeless images for my clients. My favorite part of photography is deeply connecting with the individuals I work with. I approach all shoots with the same calmness and openness and show reverence to my subjects. I strive to create a comfortable environment where individuals can simply be.

When I'm not editing photos, I'm usually working on my newsletter and podcast As You Are, with my dear friend Hollis Baker. You can also find me in Chicago attending photo events, concerts, or enjoying an NA drink with my girlfriend.
